Neighborhood Stewards are community members who help everyone in a particular area get what they need. Stewards can do welfare check-ins regularly with other people in their own communities and form meaningful relationships with their neighbors.

Build a Food Cabinet

We are setting up open access food cabinets throughout Tompkins County. If you’re interested in building a pantry for your neighborhood, you check out our food cabinet guidance for advice.

The materials, labor and delivery for these cabinets cost roughly $200 per pantry. If you’d like to donate to Tompkins County Mutual Aid to support this and other projects, please do so via our PayPal.
